Pornhub keeps on growing and it doesn’t show signs of letting up! (SFW)

As the year comes to an end, your timeline is bound to be filled to the brim with ‘end-of-year reviews’ from different companies.

From Facebook to YouTube, the web giants give users an insight to their page; from the most-watched video to the most-searched-for item.

Another website sharing their 2019 figures is Pornhub.

The leading online adult entertainment platform shared its figures on Wednesday (11th Dec), with over 42 Billion visits to the site, this meaning there was an average of 115 million visits per day.

There was a record number of Pornhub searches, with 39 billion performed- 8.7 billion more than its previous year.

Amateur porn topped the ‘most searched for’ list this year.

Dr Laurie Betito of the Sexual Wellness Center said: “It seems that people are looking for more realistic depictions of sex.

“Real people vs. actors seems to be the draw.”

“Sex has become so much less taboo than those who get a kick out of exhibitionism can do so with very little experience or equipment.

“The message is: anyone can be a porn star!” Dr Betito commented.
